The invitation we made for New Beginnings. We put them in "parchment" envelopes sealed with the Hogwarts crest. For our current YW I just rolled them and tied them with twine. Harry Potter Party, Hogwarts Crest

The YW were our "prefects" and met the incoming Beehives and their families in the hallway to help them get in to the room. The secret password? "Stand for Truth and Righteousness!" The Laurels explained each of the YW values as they poured the "potions" in to the cauldron. Dry ice in the cauldron gave it a fun, smoky effect. When all of the values had been added, they stirred it up and pulled out a YW Medallion. Potions, Dry Ice, Cauldron, Ice, Laurels

Our 2nd Counselor created an awesome script for each of the Beehives to introduce the Personal Progress program to the incoming Beehives. Some of the script was taken directly from the Personal Progress book and supplemented with some fun stories from the New Era Introduce, Progress Book

A friend made the amazing cake- take a closer look- she changed the HP to YW and incorporated all of the value colors in to the bottom sheet cake portion. Our YW president had purchased the chocolate frogs mold for YW in Excellence and made cute frogs in all of the value colors from the meltable candy wafers.
