I have a project coming up that involves writing on fabric. The ladies in quilt guild were talking about what fabric marker works best, and I wanted to try it out. So I set up my own test to see which pen/marker performed that best. I have 5 different marking pens/markers.

Faux Scrappy is when you use the backside of a fabric for additional fabric. For example, shown below is 3 different fabrics, but if you use the backsides of the fabrics, you have the option for 6 different looks.

During Utah Quilt Guild's Quilt Fest, I took a class on Color Theory. We didn't talk a lot about actual color theory. But she did talk basics and identified some things like hue, value, saturation, and grey scale. Most of the time we spent exploring colors. I had fun playing.
