Donald Neff--"Endicott Arm", 24x12, oil on canvas 13th in the Vertical Water Series. Endicott Arm is one of the breathtaking fjords of the Inside Passage of SouthEast Alaska. At around 35 miles long, it ends in Dawes Glacier with a face of 250 feet. We did a cruise through the arm last summer, and was very reminiscent of cruising into Milford Sound, New Zealand. It is like taking a cruise ship right into Yosemite Valley. Alaska, Water, Summer, Milford Sound, Glacier, Canyonlands

Donald Neff--"Victorian Lore", 24x12, oil on canvas, plein air. Alum Rock Park in the foothills just east of San Jose was founded in 1872. With its dozens of mineral springs, it became a nationally famous health destination. Stone grottos were built around 20 springs, along with bath houses, hotels, saloons, a zoo, and other facilities over the years. All that is gone now except the stone bridges, and grottos. The painting is of one of the remaining foot bridges across Penitencia Creek. Lakes, Architecture, Ideas, Rivers, San Jose, Landscape Paintings, Waterfall

Donald Neff--"Hear Me Roar", 24x12, oil on canvas The roar of the churning surf, the crash of the waves against the hardened rocks, the gurgling of the wave as it dies on the shore, the crackling bubbles as the wave ebbs, the gusts of salty wind, the keow of a soaring gull, the misty spray in your face is… indeed sublime. –Donald Neff Design, Surfs, Ocean Waves

Donald Neff--The Tuolumne River is one of the mightiest rivers in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Flowing for 149 miles, it drains a rugged watershed in the high Sierras, and flows calmly through Tuolumne Meadows before cascading into the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne. The river, captured by Hetch Hetchy Reservoir, provides water and power to the City of San Francisco and the SF Bay area prior to merging with the San Joaquin River in California’s Central Valley.
