Devil In The White City
Jack Recommends: Architect and city planner Daniel Burnham. He was a leader and an innovator, creating master plans of urban environments that have greatly benefited such cities to this day. He designed city scapes that included greenery and parks, on top of the industrial nature of the urban environment. Chicago and Washington D.C. are two such cities that continue to feel Burnham's impact.
