Tabards: Range of Looks

I'm fascinated by the centuries of fashion riffs on this medieval garment; also by when the term "tabard" is chosen to describe a design. To me, if it has a front opening (like a coat or vest), it's outside the limits of what I'd call a tabard, but I may pin a few here if they inspire me. Also see my "Wearable Simple Shapes" board.
