I believe the way we begin anything matters. I’m taking my time to set up my space and my mindset for this painting - because the process deserves just as much attention as the result. I’ve spent the last month practising and preparing, and now it’s time to bring it all together. I want to remind you that whatever you’re working on, it’s okay to slow down, take your time, and do it with care 🫶🏼 How do you set the tone for the work you’re passionate about?

Today’s little study is a gentle exploration of colour and introspection 🫶🏼 I love how the look of the painting shifts in different light. It reminds me of all the sunsets I’ve watched with my children. Each one so familiar yet never the same. Sometimes it’s the smallest changes in light that invite us to see something entirely new 🌅
