Ok so some finished pics with the jacket on. I’m pretty pleased with how this turned out. I love how the purple crinkle linen looks and the way I followed the lining fabric for the quilting 👌🏻I think is perfect for this jacket. Because I’ll be teaching this as a class I didn’t make any alterations except for going down three sizes but that super common for me in boxy drafted patterns. My bust is 40” and I finished making the 8. This was super easy with the pattern as the lines don’t over lap.

Pretty stoked about my new #tamarackjacket! This was a slow and steady project... super relaxing. I used Hong Kong binding on all of the seams and I stitched all the seam allowances down by hand, so this took me a couple of weekends to do. But I finished in time to wear it to #campworkroomsocial and I've barely taken it off since I finished! Finding welt pockets to be quite satisfying to sew so I’m glad I didn’t chicken out and throw patch pockets on. Threw caution to the wind and did not do a practice run with my thick brushed wool lining/pocket bags and thankfully it turned out alright. I’ll chalk it up to good instructions.
