I am Brent, a painter. I have been chasing light since I was a boy, growing up on a farm in Africa. The light of the world is spectacular, and I spend my time trying to fine tune the art of capturing it on canvas. I believe in painting authentically, understanding the subject matter, knowing it, having experience of it and with it, finding those cracks that let the light in, painting with new and fresh perspective.
