Electricity and Magnetism Lab Equipment

Equipment I use to teach Electricity and Magnetism in AP Physics 2 and AP Physics C (and a few things I wish I had). I have Vernier Probeware, but I also have a lot of Pasco equipment and equipment from other companies.

For this 3D magnetic field model, we used baby oil, iron filings, a glass test tube and a piece of foam. This can get messy! The foam is just to keep the test tube from breaking. It's best to seal the tube to the bottle with epoxy or "goo." Make sure you wipe off the access oil before applying the sealant, though. The magnet does not need to be super strong.
