The Kovtunenko ladies look gorgeous in their multi-patterned dresses. Normally we advise families to avoid mis-matched patterns because they often clash, however, it works for these ladies because they intentionally chose mis-matched patterns. It creates a very bohemian kind of look and for a summer photo shoot in the willow trees, what could be better! The point is that their outfits were all connected with a common theme. Dad's checkered shirt is the same color as mom's sweater so they match but because it's checkered it makes the photo more interesting and it helps each person stand out individually so they don't all just blend together as one solid blob of red.
